Upcycled from antique and vintage furniture! Antique bathroom vanity 25" to 36" wide size range converted from an antique highboy tall dresser and made shorter to desired height. Vanities are our specialty! In converting, we preserve the "look" of the original antique piece, reinforce the frame to hold granite / marble tops and other alterations so it is bathroom ready and friendly. Top drawers are normally made faux and lower drawers converted to u-shaped interiors to fit around pipes. Shortening height from the body, like the example, is $300 extra. Other add-on customizations are available. See list below.

The first gorgeous black French Provincial bath cabinet was Custom Ordered by another Etsy buyer just like you. It serves as a Custom Order example. This vanity is not available, however, our specialty is doing another similar to it! We added all the wood filigree adornments. Making the drawer front doors and cabinets is $400 extra.


The original wood top is removed and not included. If you prefer to keep the wood top we can, we just need to know this when your order is placed. Sink, faucets, plumbing and non-wood top are NOT included. Your contractor is the best person to provide for those on-site.

It's all for YOU and done YOUR WAY. Painted in one color of your choice, shabby chic distressed. Old converted vanities are hot! They are fabulous for Victorian farmhouses, brown stone renovations .... all the way to new construction estates. Put antique bath vanities in all your bathrooms! Finish with marble stone or granite, old fashioned faucets and vessel or inset sinks. We provide the cabinet ready for your top, sink and plumbing.

Antique vintage dressers vary greatly in size so please let us know the size range needed. A 1" to 2" allowance or minimum/maximum ranges are preferred. Our creative and talented woodworking shop can modify sizes, build different types of storage and add features. Let us know what your preferences are.

INCLUDED CUSTOMIZATION:

1) Create an open, secure area for your plumbing, sink and faucet.

2) Clear your plumbing: Faux out and/or shorten drawers and modify with u shape and scoops.

3) Remove top and back, reinforce frame. Base installation ready.

4) Refurbish and clear coat drawers.

5) Stain cabinet interiors.

6) Finish: If painted: one color, solid or distressed coverage.
If stained: stain plus 2-3 coats waterproof satin top coat.

7) Add up to 8 pieces wood carved filigree, on painted pieces only.

8) Shorten height, at leg bottoms, if needed.

9) Mail traced template of top frame provided upon request.

10) Remove old wheels, and filling post holes.

11) Original antique hardware.

Our dressers are from the 1920's to 1960's era. We select pieces with excellent craftsmanship, constructed from strong, old growth wood. All antique furniture have characteristic dents and dings here & there. We ensure there are no major faults. We use antique metal pulls and knobs, some with old patinas.

The process takes about 8 to 10 weeks. Finding time is allocated within this time. Status updates and pics are sent throughout the refinishing process. Its fun creating your vanity working with Camille! Share your ideas and we'll do our best to create your functional piece of art.

Place your order now, advise your style (many styles are shown in our shop), mod preferences and size needs. We'll find the piece and send pics in its original condition for your approval. Once you approve the piece, we restore, convert, enhance and refinish it in our unique shabby chic style.

Painting is by hand and by brush. It takes time and we properly apply multiple coats of paint. We do not spray paint our finishes. Stock colors are our own blends (see named color choices in the drop-down list). Your custom 1 color, selected from your local hardware store is extra. Metallic colors and 2-tones are also extra, please ask.
